New Adler's Appetite Single Available With Biography Purchase

Guns N' Roses is one of the undisputed greatest rock bands of all time. They single-handedly put an end to the glam rock hair band craze of the '80s by re-establishing the true blues roots of rock and roll. Steven Adler is Guns N' Roses' infamous original drummer and co-founder. But Steven's self-destructive obsession with drug use led to Axl Rose firing him from the band in 1990.

About the author: Steven Adler was the drummer of Guns N' Roses from 1985 to 1990. In 2003, he founded Adler's Appetite, with whom he released an EP and continues to perform live. He participated in the second season of VH1's "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew" and was also on "Sober House", a "Celebrity Rehab" spin-off focusing on a sober living environment. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Carolina Adler.

Axl didn't fire Steven. It was a band's decission. Axl tried to hang onto Steve as long as he could by putting Steve into re-hab many times and paying for it for their UYI cd's, but Steve wouldn't stay off drugs and was becoming incapable of playing the drums.

Adler's account is only slightly more credible than Axl's. They are both liars and fools. Neither can keep their stories straight and neither are living in reality. Both are sad losers.

If this is true a reunion tour with the original line up is just impossible.

I have no idea if this is true or not but, I heard a rumor that the reason Steven was fired from the band was not only that his drug abuse had gotten so bad, and that the people he was getting the drugs from were a real bad element, but that also there was an incident involving Axl's wife Erin. Apparently, she somehow ended up letting Steven shoot her up with Heroine. There was never any mention as to whether or not this was a one time thing. However, the one incident mentioned was that there was some kind of problem, overdosing or really bad reaction to it or whatever. Anyway, however it went down, something really bad happened and it seems like right around the same time she miscarried their child. Don't know if it was related to the drugs or not. Wasn't long after that, that Axl and Erin split up for good. It was mentioned that this was just too much for the rest of them to deal with and nothing else had worked to get him off the drugs so they got rid of him. If anyone else has heard this or has more info please share. Any way you look at it, with all that was going on I'm surprised any of them are alive. Peace.

I heard that same story and that could be why Axl said in an interview with Kurt Loder outside Axl's and Erin's home that Steven was dangerious. Fromwhat I read, it almost killed Erin and there was also another lady that was with Erin at the time and from what I read it was Slash's girlfriend. I also read that Erin and Axl got into indifferent feelings about the situation and Erin wanted Steven fired because of what happened but the band couldn't do that because it had nothing to do with the band and Erin was told that her and her friend had no business going over to Steven's knowing how he was.

Ha, Ha, Ha! Dude, what the f--k do you think people are on this site for? Talking about GNR shit and stating the things they have heard. As for growing up, if you are a grown up I'll pass on that shit. Seems like you must spend alot of time listening to little old ladies gossip, which by the way, if you'd shut up and listen to those same little old ladies talk, you might actually learn something. Rumors are just that until confirmed. It's called speculation. Since Adler has written his side, these things have a tendancy to come up. Don't like what we have to say, who cares.
