Well, Slash has Izzy and Popcorn in his solo record. Duff will be in it without a doubt. So 4 out of 5 ain't bad, it's as close as will get.
Obviously he sending Axl a message:

Hi Lana - there's just not much going on unfortunately - its very depressing :(

Should be interesting album - looking forward to hearing the end product. It could be great, or it could suck big-time, Obviously alot depends on the quality of the songs, the music and the vocalists. I hope Slash sticks to what he does best - soulfull hard rock and doesn't try anything to adventurous, or it may end up being down right embarassing. Axl Rose can pull it off (being multi-dimensional and risque), but Slash is a little bit more one-dimensional - albeit the best at what he does :)

Screw all this bullshit, let Axl do whatever it is he is doing, and just get together without him.

My biggest fear is that this album will be an overproduced, blatant attempt at commercial success (ie Santana)...With Fergie on the album i think it is a fair assumption...Either way i will probably buy it to support my fav guitar hero slash...I just hope Lenny Kravitz makes an appearance.

seriously i wonder what then the fans are looking for. i'm talking about the people who always complain about axl constantly, look on this site for example. what are they waiting for then? a reunion its obvious! to say that no one wants a reunion is a lie and anyone who believes that does not know the first thing about what the common GNR fan wants. and idk about you pennylane but i would be willing to put up with an hour of waiting(the average time) for axl to see an amazing peformance of my favorite band. and yes axl can still sing his ass off just ask duff. well you say he cant sing live just go on youtube.

G, fair enough, of course a reunion would be cool to see.
But I wasn't talking about just one hour of being late - that would be the best case scenario.
I just think, seeing what Axl is doing now (i.e. nothing, at least nothing that we know of, lol), he would not show up most of the times, cancel alot of concerts, delay a possible record, etc.
I mean, Axl's not even touring with his current band, he's hiding, why would anyone think this'll change with a reunion?!
So, I stick to what I said before, I'd rather have the other 4 guys playing/touring together, than wasting my money/time on the little diva.
P.S. Axl should be happy about fans complaining that he's not touring, or asking where he is, what his next plans are. That just shows there still are some people who are interested in him! It could be worse: he could tour/sing/speak, and no one cared! Just keep that in mind...

But to explain you first WHY I am "so negative":

Give me something GOOD about this so called NEW GNR.
Well???
Have you seen them the last years?
Heard them live the last years?
Etc. etc. etc.

And BECAUSE I am/ used to be (let Axl decide that) I get so pissed.
WHY bring out a "new" album (leaked years before it got out so it was old when it hit the stores) when you hide yourself the years following the release?
The lame excuse "because Axl is Axl" got boring in '95 (that's why everybody left him) so don't give that shit.

Best song ever?
Estranged (personal reasons and the arangements)
It's so Easy (makes every dull moment great till I die)

I LIVED GNR. When KOHD and November Rain got boring (finally) by mainstream public and GNR was concidered a lame band (when Seattle got big) I was STILL out there.
When rock got into a coma after that I was still a recognizable GNR fan and proud of it.
I truly concider myself as one of the FEW die hard GNR fans who NEVER got tired of their music, the stories, the history etc.

So I have waited very long. NOT only for a new album but for the BIG comeback.
The total blast away of house, R&B and all that other shit.
"Mr. Rose is back, GNR is back. So long all you whining afro's with your RAP and R&B shit, ROCK AND FUCKIN' ROLL is back in it's only form!"

That's what all us real fans expected from the big man. That's the expectations Lil' Red Bastard gave us in the short interviews pre- releasing the album since 2002.

And I don't give a shit about the reasons behind it, the album was brought out and it did NOTHING. And instead of fighting for it, Gingerface went into hiding.

THAT my dear Scott, is WHY I am being such a dick here.

www.ART-4-EVER - well I can say two good things about New GnR. First, I did see them live 2 years ago here in Australia. They were on stage right on the expected time - 11:30p.m, played for 2hours, delivered an awesome show and seemed to really enjoy themselves.

The second thing is obviously Chinese Democracy came out. I never thought it would see the light of day, and I love it. Except for a couple of songs, I think its right up there with some of Axl's best work.

I have to agree with your choice of songs - Estranged has been one of my favourites, and Its so Easy - well thats just a classic song on a classic album. If I had to pick just one song though it would be Rocket Queen.
