Guns N' Rubs: Canadian Massage Therapist Tends To Axl Rose
SASKATOON — Some parents dread the day their child falls in with the wrong crowd — the rebels, the dopers, the drop outs — but what happens when your daughter goes on tour with one of the world's biggest rock stars?
Cornelia Tan, who works at Saskatoon's Pro Sport Rehab and Fitness, toured with Guns N' Roses across Canada as frontman Axl Rose's personal massage therapist.
Next week, Tan joins the band again for a month-long tour in South America.
"My dad had his concerns, for sure," said Tan.
Tan's parents hadn't heard of Guns N' Roses, but once they Googled the band, revealing its notorious hard partying past, they had some questions.
"This isn't the Guns N' Roses of the Appetite for Destruction days," said Clyde Bersky, Tan's boyfriend who joined her for the Canadian dates. "The fans are rowdier than the band.

Slash on Recording With Ozzy and Lemmy, Plans for Summer Tour
Slash spent more time navigating red tape than laying down guitar lines for his self-titled solo disc, due in stores this April. “It took four months to make the record,” he says. “I had to write all the material then I had to make demos to send to all the singers. And then the thing that made it take the longest was getting releases from all the different artists’ record companies.”
But the paperwork was well worth the effort since he got to settle into the studio with two of his heroes: Ozzy Osbourne and Lemmy Kilmister.

Axl Rose - Twitter Update
Fuck!! The NY shows were insane!! Love the free form laid back vibe n' both were completely different from r view. The fans were AMAZING!! John (Varvatos) was really great! And to keep CBGB's rockin'?! Badass!! Goin' into Rose Bar was rough on some. Lotta best left memories from the old hotel. The gig helped w/some o' those. Felt really good on stage. (We actually "LIKE" playing together n' I absolutely agree some things should b a lot less complicated than others made them in the past that's why we're together n' other's by their own accord ain't here.) We all had a great time, it was a madhouse!! Thanks to everyone who came out n' those who helped put 'em 2gether. Good to have a short break n' gear up 4 South America. I LOVE NY!!
